My favorite ride at Kennywood Park was the Jack Rabbit. As a child, I thought that roller coaster was the most deliciously scary experience of the summer. Last night was another wild Pittsburgh ride, as only last minute heroics by Big Ben and San Antonio Holmes (who modestly stated in an interview after the game – “Now I am a super star”) saved the game from being a heartbreaker. Ben pulled out his sixth come-from-behind winning drive to win the Steelers’ sixth super bowl. My friends Matt and Marilyn were going to the game. I can’t wait to hear their report about the experience of actually being there. A season like this makes missing “the Bus” a little less painful.
